50/50 RULES & REGULATIONS

The Brandon Wheat Kings are pleased to offer our fans a 50/50 draw at each Wheat Kings home game at Westoba Place at the Keystone Centre. Tickets can be purchased online at www.wheatkings.com or through a 50/50 seller in Westoba Place on Game Day. During the third period of every Wheat Kings home game, a winning ticket is randomly drawn from all tickets sold and one lucky fan will take home 50% of proceeds for the game’s tickets sales. 

Please note: Tickets can only be purchased by individuals 18 years or older, located within Manitoba’s provincial borders at the time of purchase.

1. 50/50 tickets are sold through our Ascend Fundraising Solutions electronic raffle system. 

2. To purchase an online ticket in the Raffle, you must supply certain personal information (such as name, home address details, date of birth, payment card details and e-mail address). Certain information may be shared with AscendFS Canada Ltd. (“Ascend”) in order to process your request to purchase a raffle ticket. 3. If the Ascend Fundraising Solutions electronic system fails after selling 50/50 tickets has begun and cannot be restored, sales for the draw will cease and the draw will be made as soon as the system is restored from the tickets sold prior to the system failure.

4. All tickets purchased online will be delivered via email only. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draw. 5. All In-Arena purchasers will be provided with a printed ticket.

6. Ticket sales will open online at 7:00am each Game Day.

7. In-Arena ticket purchases will be available when doors open at 50/50 kiosks and sellers throughout the arena.

8. The 50/50 draw will be made by Random Number Generator during the third period Media Break.  The winning ticket will be randomly drawn from all tickets sold. If the 50/50 draw cannot be made during the game, the draw will occur after the game as soon as possible.

9. The winning ticket will be identified by the ticket number and will be:

   1. Displayed on the Arena Jumbotron;

   2. Posted on www.wheatkings.com by noon the day following the game; and

   3. If the draw cannot be made during the game, the winning number will be posted on the www.wheatkings.com website as soon as available.

10. If the winning ticket was sold In-Arena, the winner may present their winning ticket at the “50/50 / Fan Services office” at the east end of the concourse, or at the Brandon Wheat Kings Office (during regular business hours) to collect the prize. 

11. If the winning ticket was sold online, the winner will be contacted using the email address provided during ticket purchase. Once the winner agrees to the terms and conditions of the prize release, a cheque will be issued to the winner for the prize amount.

12. Winners will be required to sign a prize release prior to the issuance of a cheque for their winnings.

13. By claiming the 50/50 prize, the winner gives the Brandon Wheat Kings the right to publish the winner’s name and prize amount. Names are publicized to protect the integrity of the 50/50 raffle as it verifies that prizes are won.

14. Winners have until 4:00 p.m. on the tenth day following the draw to claim their prize. Unclaimed prizes will revert to the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation to support its purposes.

15. Prize is paid by cheque within ten (10) business days of the winner claiming the prize and number is confirmed by the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation.

16. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to participate and purchase a 50/50 ticket. Ticket purchaser must be located within Manitoba’s provincial borders at the time of purchase or be a resident of Manitoba.

17. Draw is open to all ticket holders 18 years of age or older including all members of the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation.

The Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation Raffle License (LGCA 4404-RF-48277) is issued by the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.
