The Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation’s Black & Gold Gala, held February 19th in the Manitoba Room at the Keystone Centre, was an unforgettable evening of celebration, community, and generosity. Guests enjoyed a spectacular night highlighted by a highly successful silent auction, live auction, and the always-anticipated player auction, all contributing to the incredible spirit of giving that filled the room. Thanks to the overwhelming support of sponsors and attendees, the funds raised exceeded our expectations which will continue to support the BWKF initiatives.​

The evening also featured the presentation of this year’s Hall of Fame inductees, Ray Allison and Ron Chipperfield. Each sharing heartfelt moments that celebrated the legacy and impact of those who have shaped Wheat Kings hockey. A standout highlight was Ron Chipperfield’s memorable acceptance speech, which reflected on tradition, pride, and the enduring strength of the Wheat Kings family.​

Gala guests were treated to an exceptional meal prepared by the Keystone Centre, while enjoying the elegant wine bar and popular champagne wall. The Manitoba Room was transformed with stunning décor by Pinnacle Designs, creating a beautiful backdrop for the evening. Guests captured memories at the photo booth and were entertainment by illusionist Nigel Harrison.​
