Investing in Players’ Futures, On the Ice and Beyond.
Every current and future Brandon Wheat Kings player is eligible for the WHL Scholarship, a fully guaranteed post-secondary education program offered by the Western Hockey League. Funded entirely by member clubs, including the Brandon Wheat Kings, the scholarship ensures that after their playing careers, athletes can confidently transition into the next phase of life, whether that’s college, university, or career training.

Key Highlights
Eligibility Criteria

Experience
Players must have played in the WHL and be listed on a WHL Club’s roster.
Education
Must enroll in a post-secondary institution within two years of their final WHL season.

Contract
Must not sign a professional hockey contract (NHL/AHL/European leagues) to retain eligibility.
