The Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation extends a heartfelt thanks to the many guests, sponsors, alumni, and community partners who made the Black & Gold Gala on Thursday, February 19, 2026, an unforgettable evening.

The Black & Gold Gala is an evening dedicated to raising funds in support of the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation and honouring the legacy that is the Brandon Wheat Kings Hockey Club. The event brought together supporters from across Westman for an evening filled with pride, reflection, and excitement for the future. The highlight of the evening was the induction of Wheat Kings legends Ron Chipperfield and Ray Allison into the Brandon Wheat Kings Hall of Fame. An emotional and well-deserved honour that underscored the rich legacy of excellence within the organization.

Guests enjoyed an elegant dining experience, premium hospitality, silent and live auctions as well as live entertainment featuring renowned illusionist Nigel Harrison.

Most importantly, the Black & Gold Gala showcased the strength of the Wheat Kings community. The unwavering support of sponsors and attendees continues to fuel the growth of the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation and ensures that the tradition of excellence in Brandon hockey remains strong for generations to come.
