The Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation U9 Classic Tournament brought a weekend of excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable memories to the J&G Arena in Brandon. Teams from across the region gathered to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of minor hockey, creating an atmosphere that perfectly captured what the game is all about; fun, development, and sportsmanship.

Throughout the weekend, big smiles, enthusiastic cheers, and a genuine love for the game were on full display during each match up.  From strong teamwork to individual moments of growth and confidence, the tournament showcased the positive impact youth hockey has on young athletes both on and off the ice.

Beyond the action, the event also served a larger purpose. By participating, teams and families supported the Brandon Wheat Kings Foundation and its ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for children in the community. Proceeds from the tournament help fund programs and initiatives that make hockey and other experiences more accessible for local youth.

Following a fantastic weekend of hockey, the BWK Foundation hopes to welcome everyone back to Brandon next season for another celebration of community and great hockey. As the Foundation looks to continue growing the U9 Classic in the years ahead, organizers want to thank all who sponsored, donated and attended the tournament.
